Bringing Down The House (2003) 6/10

Peter Sanderson (Martin) plays a straight-laced attorney who meets Charlene Morton (Latifah) on a dating site, believing her to be a lawyer. When she arrives at his front door one day, it turns out that she's an escaped prisoner who wants his help to clear her name. So, when he refuse to help her, she decides to pester him until he will, and all hell breaks loose!

This was a pretty formulaic movie, with lots of stereotyped characters and obvious set-pieces, but would probably go down well as a simple family film, so long as you're not looking for anything too intellectual.
