Tom Baker (Martin) gets his dream job coaching football at his old school, and is forced to take care of his twelve children in their new big city house while his wife Kate (Hunt) is on a book tour. As he tries to cope on his own with his new job and his dozen kids, his life begins to fall apart with disastrous and apparently hilarious results.

Just like Eddie Murphy, Steve Martin has begun to lose some of his charm as he makes more kiddie-friendly movies in his old age. Gone are the days of The Jerk and The Man With Two Brains as Martin attempts to make this hum-drum family comedy seem even remotely entertaining. If you liked him in Parenthood, chances are you won’t like him in this!
