Detective Jack Mosley (Willis) is assigned to take habitual criminal Eddie Bunker (Def) to court where he is due to testify against some crooked cops. Unfortunately Detective Frank Nugent (Morse) has other ideas and plans on killing Eddie before he can travel the 16 blocks to testify and ruin his career!

A decent enough action thriller, with enough stunts and twists to keep the viewer interested. Sadly Mos Def’s accent in this is very distracting and does start to grate after a while, but Willis is his usual good self, albeit playing a much older role than we’re used to, and David Morse is excellent as the dodgy cop.
