Big Nothing (2006) 7/10

Starring : David Schwimmer, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Natascha McElhone, Jon Polito
Director : Jean-Baptiste Andrea
Running Time : 83 mins

Charlie Wood (Schwimmer) is an unemployed teacher who ends up working in a call centre. There he meets Gus (Pegg), who convinces him to help in a scam to blackmail a local reverend for a large amount of money. Joining them in this plan is Josie McBroom (Eve), a waitress who is sort of dating Gus. Unfortunately things go drastically wrong when Charlie and Gus accidentally kill the reverend in his home.

This was a reasonably entertaining movie, with plenty of twists and turns, and a nice original non-Hollywood ending. There are some nice cameos from the likes of Mimi Rogers and Colin Stinton, and some very good performances from the likes of Schwimmer and Pegg.
