Stark Raving Mad (2002) 7/10

Ben McGewen (Scott) and some of his friends decide to break into a bank vault to steal a priceless statue in order to pay off his dead brother’s debt to local criminal Gregory (Phillips). As cover they hold a rave next door to the vault, using the load music as cover for the noise from their cutting equipment. Unfortunately nothing ever runs smoothly, and a number of increasingly irritating obstacles continually stand in their way.

This was actually a surprisingly good film, with Scott leading the ensemble cast admirably in a sort of teenaged Oceans Eleven. Plenty of non-stop action throughout, and some nice guest roles from the likes of Lou Diamond Phillips and Dave Foley, amongst others.
