Princess Fiona (Diaz) receives a letter from her parents (Andrews & Cleese) to bring her new husband Shrek (Myers) to dinner so they can meet him. Her parents, however, don't realise that Shrek and the Princess are both ogres and are horrified at the discovery. The king is then visited by Fiona's fairy Godmother (Saunders), who reminds him that his daughter had been promised to Prince Charming (Everett), the Godmother's son, and she plans on making him fulfill that agreement!

Not as good as the original, but better than a lot of the half-hearted animated movies that have been floating around in recent years. Still full of excellent visual humour, and the cast still seem fresh and enthusiastic about the characters they play.
