Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) is the ultimate sexist 70s news reporter, and when Veronica Corningstone (Applegate) gets a job at his network he isn't worried because she's "just a woman", but when she is made co-anchor on his daily news show and tries to usurp him, the gloves are off and it's an all-out battle of the sexes!

This is probably Will Ferrell's best lead role, as he always works best for me as a supporting actor. There are some very silly lines that make my laugh every time, and Steve Carell is absolutely brilliant as Brick Tamland. The frat pack at their finest.
