Four friends go on their annual hunting trip and meet a man who has been lost in the woods for the last few days. They soon discover that he has been infected with an alien virus and that the military are trying to quarantine the area as quickly as possible.

This was a pretty good adaptation of Stephen King's novel, right up until the ending which was completely changed! I couldn't believe it when everything started going in a ridiculous and confusing new direction, and it made the rest of the film feel weak in comparison.
