Popular high school sports star Jake (Evans) makes a bet that he can make ugly girl Janey (Leigh) into prom queen, but his sister Catherine (Kirschner) and head cheerleader Priscilla (Pressly) have other ideas and desperately try to prevent the two of them from getting together.
It’s a rare thing these days to see a spoof made successfully, what with Epic Movie, Date Movie, and all the Scary Movie’s, but this one was spot on. Primarily lampooning She’s All That, this contains send ups of such teen classics as The Breakfast Club, Can’t Hardly Wait, Cruel Intentions, Never Been Kissed, Bring It On, The Karate Kid, Pretty In Pink and American Pie.
