The Accidental Spy (2001) 5/10

Starring : Jackie Chan, Eric Tsang, Vivian Hsu, Min Kim
Director : Teddy Chan
Running Time : 89 mins

Bei (Chan) is a run-of-the-mill shop worker who foils a jewel robbery. Bei's actions bring him to the attention of a private investigator (Tsang) who informs him that he may be the long-lost son of a wealthy businessman who is dying in Korea. Bei travels to visit his father and discovers that he and his mother were both professional spies.

This was not particularly good, but still marginally entertaining, and just goes to show that Jackie Chan is beginning to lose his appeal. It was also quite distracting as it was so badly dubbed but still, there was still plenty of action for true Jackie Chan aficionados to enjoy all the same.
