Director : David Silverman
Running Time : 84 mins
When Homer Simpson (Castellaneta) causes an ecological disaster by dumping his pet pig’s refuse in the town water supply, the Simpson family find themselves on the run, while the town is put under quarantine in a big glass dome. Discovering that Springfield is going to be blown up to prevent the spread of the toxic waste, the Simpson’s then find themselves to be the only people able to save their town from extinction!
Compared to some of the more recent episodes of the popular television show, this was actually really good. Some of the old wit from the early years returns in this big screen adaptation, although this is nowhere near as clever as the first few seasons of the show.
