Julie Jones (Hannigan) is fat and has low self-esteem, until she meet Grant Fockyerdoder (Campbell) and decides to do something about her appearance. When they do get together, and he proposes, she finds herself faced with having to meet his parents and contend with his best friend Andi (Monk) who wants to put an end to their romance.

I didn’t have much hope for this movie, having already seen Epic Movie and Scary Movie 2 and realising how bad spoofs can be, but this wasn’t quite as bad as them. However, an awful lot of the spoofs felt like they had only been half thought through, and some were simply direct word-for-word replays of the movies they were spoofing. I think the fact I’ve learned from these so-called comedy spoofs is that you shouldn’t spoof comedies!
