Jason Bourne (Damon) is found floating at sea, with no idea of how he got there or, indeed, who he is. The only clue to his identity is a chip implanted in his hip with details of a safety deposit box, but when he goes there to find out if there’s any information on who he is, he finds a collection of fake passports and a heavy duty gun!
This was a nicely entertaining movie, which thankfully can stand alone as well as with the two sequels. Damon works reasonably well as the slightly clueless Bourne, while also proving he can do action as well as drama, and Potente is very good as the unwilling accomplice to Bourne’s apparent crimes.
