The Prince And Me (2004) 6/10

After seeing an advert on television claiming that girls in Wisconsin will do anything, Prince Edvard of Denmark (Mably) decides to go there under the pretence of wanting to learn more about America's heartland, but once there he soon realises that the advert wasn't entirely true and that the majority of women there are harder to win over, especially medical student Paige Morgan (Stiles) who he takes an instant liking to.

This is the sort of fare that fans of Freddie Prinze Jr will enjoy. Mably is a hateful character in this movie, and does little to endear himself to the audience other than get a job and get beaten up a lot. Stiles more starts to pity Mably than fall in love with him, but the Florence Nightingale effect must work sometimes, and here we can see it in full effect. Not worth watching unless you like fairy tale movies mascarading as romantic comedy.
