Bangkok Dangerous (2008) 5/10

Starring : Nicolas Cage, Shahkrit Yamnarm, Charlie Young, Panward Hemmanee
Director : The Pang Brothers
Running Time : 99 mins

Joe (Cage) is a hitman sent to Bangkok to execute a number of hits. While there he selects a young lad named Kong (Yamnarm) to do his errands for him and forms an unusual bond with him, through which he starts to show him how his job is done. When Joe also starts a relationship with deaf shopworker, Aom (Hemmanee), he starts to have second thoughts about his career choice, so when confronted with his latest target, the Prime Minister of Thailand, he has to choose between his job and his opinion of himself.

Once again Nicolas Cage proves that he has little or no personality in this waste-of-time remake. His character gives little or no reason to us to sympathise with him, and his last minute change of heart is on a par with Sergeant York. Don't bother with this mediocre effort, it's reined by Cage's bad acting.
