This movie is a lot more crass than the first instalment starring Murphy. The Klump family are in it far more, and their behaviour is even more overboard than previously shown, and there are some very unpleasant scenes involving Larry Miller and a mutant hamster. Fans of Murphy will enjoy this, but if you're looking for a clever comedy like the original with Jerry Lewis then you're going to find yourself out of luck with this.
