Asterix (Giamatti) and Obelix (Garrett) are set the challenge of training up young Justforkix (Astin) to become a man, but a hord of Vikings kidnap him under the belief that he holds the secret of learning to fly. While Asterix and Obelix try to rescue him, Justforkix finds himself falling in love with Abba (Wood), the daughter of the Viking leader.

This was a very enjoyable cartoon which, in spite of making attempts to be more up to date, doesn’t go to far with the modern references. There are lots of in jokes for the audience, mainly to do with the names of the Vikings, and the animation is excellent. Definitely one to watch out for.
