Booby Green (Phoenix) is a night club owner who has dealings with the Russian mafia, but he finds his loyalties questioned when he is forced to choose between his friends and his family, as he’s secretly the son and brother of two of New York’s most prolific police officers who have been targeted by the mob.

I really enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. Phoenix is brilliant in the lead role, and gives a level performance throughout. Mark Wahlberg was a little weak as the brother, but thankfully this didn’t affect the overall feel of the movie which remains very much worth seeing.
