Carmen Cortez (Vega) has become trapped in a virtual reality computer game, designed by the villainous Toymaker (Stallone) who plans on using the game to take over the world, but Carmen’s little brother Juni (Sabara) is sent in to save her and stop the Toymaker from completing his nefarious plan.

Compared to the first two Spy Kids movies, this was pretty terrible. Gone are the clever gadgets and witty tongue in cheek humour, and now they’ve been replaced by lame 3-D special effects and possibly the worst villain ever designed. If you liked the originals, it might be an idea to skip this instalment so as not to spoil the memories.
