Running Time : 97 mins
When Noah (O’Neill) and Emma Wilder (Wryn) find a strange box of toys on the beach, they begin to develop amazing powers and genius level intelligence, but when Noah assembles the toys, he accidentally activates a powerful generator and blacks out the entire state. When the FBI investigate, they discover that, rather than the alien technology they expected, the toys have come from the future with a warning for all of mankind.
This was a pretty good kids movie which didn’t seem to talk down to it’s audience. The child actors were good in their roles, and the action was well paced and lead to a satisfying conclusion. The only real problem was it did get a little confusing as to what the Mimzy’s were being used for right up until the end.
