Starring : Dane Cook, Jessica Alba, Dan Fogler, Lonny Ross, Ellia English
Director : Mark Helfrich
Running Time : 96 mins
When Charlie Logan (Cook) refuses to kiss a goth girl at a childhood slumber party, she hexes him so that he will never know love, and that anyone he goes out with will find love with their next partner. Charlie doesn’t take it seriously until, many years later, someone posts and article about him on the internet and he begins to see a pattern. As a result, when he meets accident-prone Cam Wexler (Alba) at a wedding, he does everything he can to make sure she doesn’t get away.
This was actually a very entertaining movie, with some nice comic turns from both Cook and, surprisingly, Alba. There’s a little too much unnecessary sex throughout the movie which no doubt affected the rating, but the overall comedy overshadows this and makes for a very enjoyable movie.
