Donna Jensen (Paltrow) dreams of becoming a flight attendant, despite having never flown before in her life. Realising she could go far in the industry, she becomes determined to work for the same flight company as her heroine, Sally Weston (Bergman), but when she mysteriously fails the exams for entry, thing start to look bleak for Donna.

An enjoyable comedy, although not laugh-out-loud funny, with some decent cameos and supporting actors, this probably could have been a lot funnier if not for the makers apparent worry of offending people following the disaster of 9/11. Mike Myers was pretty good as the glass-eyed John Whitney, but other than that the characters were pretty forgettable, even Christina Applegate who is usually very good.
