Alex Wyler (Reeves) moves into his new lake house and receives a letter from the previous occupant, Kate Forster (Bullock). He sends one back in return and they begin a romantic correspondence, but when Kate realises that Alex is corresponding from two years in the past, their relationship takes a very unusual twist.

I hate to admit it but I did actually enjoy this movie. It started off in the usual manner for a romantic drama, but quickly took some unusual turns as the film progressed. The performances were nothing special, but it still remains an exceptionally moving film which I would definitely recommend seeing.
