After getting lost on the highway, David Fox (Wilson) and his wife Amy (Beckinsale) find themselves at a lonely, rundown motel with only the manager for company, but when they find recording devices in their room, and frightening home made movies in the VCR, they realise that their lives might be in danger.

I thought this was a really good scary movie, and it managed to be truly frightening without having an over-the-top amount of deaths. Both Wilson and Beckinsale are excellent as the estranged couple, and the villains themselves are believable, veryday folk, and not weird mutated freaks like in some movies.
