A top military marksmen named Bob Lee Swagger (Wahlberg) is asked to come out of early retirement when a conspiracy to assassinate the president of the United States is unearthed, and it is believed that he might have some insight into the marksman’s strategy. Unfortunately Swagger is soon double crossed by the people he thought he was helping and finds himself on the run for attempting to kill the president, as well as the murder of the Ethiopian prime minister.

A very entertaining movie, filled with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Wahlberg plans the hermit-like Swagger very well, and Pena is very sympathetic as rookie FBI agent Nick Memphis who helps Swagger throughout.
