Dick Harper (Carrey) and his wife Jane (Leoni) are both pretty successful in the business world, so when Dick gets a promotion at work, Jane quits her job. Unfortunately Dick has been targeted as a scapegoat by his manipulative boss Jack McCallister (Baldwin), and now the Harpers are in danger of losing their home unless they resort to drastic action, but just how far will they go to keep up with the Joneses?

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and thought that it was quite underrated as there wasn’t really all that much hype about it when it first got released. Carrey was a little over the top at times for the part, but Leoni played the role well, and Baldwin did some nice George Bush routines.
