Madagascar (2005) 7/10

A group of animals at New York's Central Park zoo are accidentally shipped on board an African freighter and find themselves stranded in Madagascar. The animals, who have all been raised in captivity, are faced with the reality of having to cope in the wild, and the dangers they could face from each other.

This was an entertaining enough film, with a lot of jokes for both children and adults alike, although the plot was a little bit basic to fill the full hour and a half. The penguins were underused too, although their own cartoon short was pretty good!
