Director : Ivan Reitman
Running Time : 92 mins
As far as super-hero comedies go, this was pretty entertaining. Uma Thurman plays Jenny Johnson, a mild mannered gallery worker who meets Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) when her bag is snatched by a mugger. They start to go out, but things start getting a bit too weird for Matt when he realises how controlling and jealous she can be. He breaks it off with her, only to discover that she is secretly the city's very own super hero, G-Girl! What follows is a series of petty vindictive acts by Jenny to get back at him for breaking her heart!
I was worried at first that Uma Thurman might be doing a repeat performance of Poison Ivy in Batman & Robin, but thankfully this was not the case. The movie was paced well, as with most if not all Ivan Reitman movies, and had a believable ending, unlike most
