Spider-Man 2 (2004) 7/10

Despite not being as good as the first installment, Spider-Man 2 was still a pretty good film. I liked the version of Doc Ock that Molina played, he was a bit more human with more direction to his madness. Raimi stuck to his guns and continued to have lots of scenes with Maguire as Parker and not Spidey, paying his respect to the comic books of the 60s and 70s, as well as having scenes that reminded me strongly of his Evil Dead movies (specifically the activation of Ocks tentacles). Though the fight scenes still felt too CGI for my liking, this was a nice action-packed romance for the whole family. My only gripe was, once again, the "New Yorkers Rule" feeling to some of the set pieces.
