Jamie Foxx plays Max, an LA cabbie who has the misfortune of picking up Vincent (Cruise), an assassin-for-hire. Vincent offers Max $600 to make five stops for him in one night, but after the first stop Max realises that he's in serious trouble and is being forced to drive Vincent to assigned destinations which could get him blamed for a series of murders!

A great little thriller, in which Foxx is nicely sympathetic and Cruise is surprisingly menacing. Mostly great acting, with maybe one or two acceptions.
