Vince Vaughn plays Peter La Fleur, owner of Average Joe's gym. When he discovers that he's close to being closed down unless he finds $50,000 to pay off his debts. Getting together with some of his loyal members, they come up with the idea of entering the Dodgeball tournement in Las Vegas, where the prize money can pay off La Fleur's debt. Unfortunately the owner of Globo Gym, Average Joe's main competitor, wants the gym closed down so that he can build a carpark for his gym on the land.
