National Lampoon's Van Wilder : The Rise Of Taj (2006) 4/10

Starring : Kal Penn, Lauren Cohan, Daniel Percival
Director : Mort Nathan
Running Time : 89 mins

When it comes to unneccessary sequels, this is probably the one that ranks the highest. The character Van Wilder, as portrayed in the original movie by Ryan Reynolds, isn't even in this film. Instead, this is the story of Taj Mahal Badalandabad (Penn) as he travels from Coolidge college to Camford University in the UK. Once there he soon realises that there is a hierarchy class system in place, sending those deemed unworthy by the eletist Pipp Everett (Percival) to what they call "The Barn". There Taj meets a group of misfits who he persuades to set uo their own school house so they can compete against the historically victorious Fox And Hounds.

This film was funny in its own way, despite the standard plot and bad puns. On the plus side there was plenty of unneccessary nudity!
