Starring : Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Jim Broadbent, Tilda Swinton
Director : Andrew Adamson
Running Time : 143 mins
This was a decent adaptation of C S Lewis' childrens classic, in which four children find themselves transported through a wardrobe to the magical world of Narnia. The child actors were capable on the whole, and Swinton's portrayal of the White Witch had just the right balance of evil and seduction. As for the battle scene, it was a little reminiscent of The Phantom Menace, and I kept expecting Jar Jar Binks to pop out of the crowd and start being annoying. Despite this, an excellent childrens tale.
