Dedication (2007) 7/10

When Henry Roth (Crudup) is faced with having to find a new artist for his children’s books when his long time colleague Rudy Holt (Wilkinson) dies, he is forced to team up with new up and comer Lucy Reilly (Moore) in order to fulfil his contractual obligation to his publishing company.

This movie started off well, with some entertaining misogynism from Crudup and Wilkinson, and the introduction of Moore made for a nice counterpoint to the tale. In spite of this I felt the ending was a little rushed, and I’d have liked it to have been less open ended than it was.
