A young boy named Arthur (Highmore) goes in search of some fabled creatures called the Minimoys, tiny beings who are so small they can’t be seen by the naked eye, in the hope of preventing his grandparents house from being demolished by discovering their long hidden treasure.

This movie wasn’t too bad – I can see what very young kids would like about it, but it did feel like it had all been done before. In spite of the less than original story line, there is some pretty neat looking computer animation, mixed with some very bright and colourful live action sequences.
