After running out on her hectic life, Alberta (Sobieski) travels to Vancouver to start a new one with her old babysitter Celene (Helfer), who now works as a Dominatrix. Alberta becomes increasingly interested in the life of a Dominatrix and decides that it might be a clever way of making money, something she desperately needs to turn her life around. Unfortunately she finds herself in a very similar situation to the one she'd just escaped from.

Sobieski manages to combine naivety with natural cunning in the way out there comedy which tackles a subject matter that has rarely if ever been touched upon. Mixing it with a natural plot twist involving stolen money, and what we have here is a very witty little criminal comedy that hits all the right notes.
