Flashbacks Of A Fool (2008) 7/10

Fading movie star Joe Scot (Craig) has slowly become addicted to drugs over the course of his life, and his career is nearing its inevitable conclusion thanks to his bad attitude, but when he receives news that his closest childhood friend has died, he starts to think back on his childhood on the way to the funeral.

This is a slow paced movie that should really be called flashback singular as there is only one massive flashback through the middle of the film. The flashback in question is the most interesting part of the movie and is a real coming of age drama with some good performances. Sadly the Daniel Craig sequences do nothing to really improve the feel of the movie and it might have actually been better without them.
