An investigative reporter (Timberlake) tries to find out the truth behind the events that occurred when a police officer working in the Fast Response Assault & Tactical unit killed a criminal he was sent to arrest, and why the victims partner thanked the murderous cop. Soon it becomes apparent that a lot, if not all, of the FRAT squad have been working outside of the law.

Despite the fact that I did actually enjoy this, especially a stellar performance from Dylan McDermott, this really felt like it changed directors half way through. What begins as something of a political thriller slowly transforms into an over the top and slightly gory action movie, especially in the last ten minutes. Still, I'd definitely recommend this to fans of pulp action movies.
