Turn The River (2007) 5/10

Kailey Sullivan (Janssen), who makes ends meet by hustling people at pool, decides to make one final big score with the help of her long time associate Teddy Quinette (Torn), so that she can kidnap her son Gulley (Dornan) from his father and step-mother and escape across the border with him to Canada.

This movie had an interesting concept in it's storyline, but it was really pretty boring. The pacing is incredibly slow, and Janssen's character has little or no charisma. Normally I wouldn't have bothered with this movie after the first five minutes because it just didn't engage me, but there might be something here for someone who likes to watch movies about gamblers making it good in order to get their family back, otherwise skip it.
