Director : John Stockwell
Running Time : 96 mins
When their bus crashes in a remote Brazilian area, a group of young backpackers think it’s the opportunity of a lifetime, hanging around with real locals and experiencing a truly unique vacation, but they soon find their lives in danger when they are targeted by a group of black market organ thieves.
This was a well paced thriller, though I thought it was going to be more of a horror. The fact that the villains are built up to be humanitarians in one respect and murderers in another make them an interesting combination to contend with. The ending was a little weak, but the characterization overall made up for the lack of an impact the ending had on the audience.
