Small time crook Gerry Austin (Johnson) uses some stolen credentials to hire a little yellow mini cooper. On his travels his meets John (Barry), who is trying to get home to talk with his estranged wife, and he joins Gerry on his escapades across the country with the police in hot pursuit.

This is a fun-filled comedy that owes a lot to the bawdy sex comedies of the 1970s. The plot is thin, but the action and mirth make up for that, and you'll be hard pushed to find someone who doesn't sympathise with the heroes of the piece as they race across the country with the police on their tale.
