Loan officer Christine Brown (Lohman) leads what could be considered the perfect life – she earns a decent wage, has a nice home, and a doting boyfriend – but when she is ordered by her boss to evict an old woman from her home, she finds herself on the business end of an evil curse that will see her dragged off to hell within three days unless she can some have the curse reversed.

Fans of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead movies will love this, but those who aren’t familiar with his work might feel a little confused and disgusted. The effects are over the top and intended to make the viewer cringe in revulsion, but it’s all intended in the best possible sense and the gross out moments seem to be there to abuse rather than appal. Well worth watching, although it isn’t brilliant.
