Dinosaur (2000) 6/10

Starring : D B Sweeney, Alfre Woodard, Ossie Davis
Director : Ralph Zondag & Eric Leighton
Running Time : 82 mins

Baby dinosaur Aladar (Sweeney) is abandoned by his real parents and ends up being raised by a family of lemurs until a deadly meteor storm leads the young dino to join with other dinosaurs as the head for a safer land in which to live.

This is an incredibly basic storyline which does little to even try to liven up events, but the animation was an unusual first step for Disney who have used this as a stepping stone into no conventional computer animation. Sadly, this marked the beginning of the end for the usual Disney animation which I really miss since it's last installment with Home On The Range, but fans of pre-history and family fun will no doubt find something to like in this.
