When King Neptune (Tambor) has his crown stolen by Plankton (Lawrence), the blame is placed on Mr Krabs (Brown), so SpongeBob agrees to leave Bikini Bottom in search of the crown, which has been sold on eBay to a buyer in the dangerous Shell City in order to save Mr Krabs from King Neptune’s wrath.

This movie was beyond silly – everything in this from King Neptune’s bald spot to Hasselhoff’s swimming manoeuvres was all spot on, and the songs in this movie were just perfect. It’s good to see that some kids cartoons these days don’t pander to children, but instead try to project a universal appeal so that everyone young or old can enjoy them.
