Starring : Robin Williams, Holly Hunter, Giovanni Ribisi, Tim Blake Nelson, W Earl Brown, Woody Harrelson
Director : Mark Mylod
Running Time : 97 mins
Struggling on the brink of going bankrupt, travel agent Paul Barnell (Williams) comes up with a cunning plan to stage his long missing brothers’ death when he finds a corpse in a dumpster at the back of his workplace so that he can finally make a claim on his life insurance, but things go from bad to worse when the mobsters who dumped the body in the first place want to get it back.
This movie was much more enjoyable than I expected it to be. The reviews had been extraordinarily poor, and my expectations were very low. Nonetheless, Williams surprised me by actually being likeable in this black comedy, as many of his roles I find to be just downright off-putting. This is worth watching even if you dislike Williams, and if you like him then you should definitely put it to the top of your to-watch list.
