Starring : Minnie Driver, Mary McCormack, Kevin McNally, Kevin Eldon, Mark Williams, Danny Dyer, Michael Gambon
Director : Mel Smith
Running Time : 83 mins
Shannon (Driver) and Frances (McCormack) overhear a criminal talking about a bank heist, and decide to black mail him in order to make a bit of money, but they soon realise they’re in over their heads when an unwilling participant is killed by the gangsters in their place.
This was a great little movie, another one that I missed out on the first time around. McCormack is genuinely funny when she attempts to do an English accent, though her cockney twang was no more comical than Danny Dyer’s natural brogue. I’d highly recommend watching this movie, it’s probably Mel Smith at his directorial best.
