A ninja princess named Kasumi (Aoki) journeys to take part in a contest called DOA which is a battle between some of the best fighters in the world, but her only wish is to find out what happened to her brother who disappeared at one of the previous tournements.

This wasn’t so much a film as a live action version of the video game upon which it’s based. The plot was flimsy to say the least, and the acting felt wooden and forced. The only thing this movie had going for it was the rather attractive cast, but even they weren’t really enough to make me wish for a sequel!
