Starring : Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin, Bruce McGill, Judy Greer, Jessica Biel
Director : Cameron Crowe
Running Time : 124 mins
After a failed campaign to produce a new type of athletic shoe, Drew Baylor (Bloom) is feeling suicidal. Then he is asked to travel across America to collect the dead body of his father, and he meets air stewardess Claire Colburn (Dunst) who teaches him that failure doesn't come from trying but from not trying at all.
The message of this movie is a little hokey, but there are some good laughs and some decent performances that manage to remain lively without being over the top. Crowe seems to have few ideas left, with this feeling almost like an extension of Jerry Maguire, but I think most people would find this enjoyable, though perhaps a little over long.
