Starring : Tony Goldwyn, Monica Potter, Garret Dillahunt
Director : Dennis Iliadis
Running Time : 113 mins
After viciously assaulting two young girls, a gang of thugs led by escaped criminal Krug (Dillahunt) seek refuge in a holiday home in the woods, only to discover that the house is owned by the parents of one of the girls, a mother and father who will stop at nothing to exact their revenge on the evil gang.
This is a surprisingly effective remake of the 70s video nasty that helped make Wes Craven a household name. The violence isn't too over the top, and the pacing is slow and believable which made for interesting viewing. Unfortunately this all gets spoiled in the last few minutes with the microwave scene If not for that this would have been a damn fine thriller.

I totally agree. I found the microwave scene a pure waste of time in the movie.
