No Country For Old Men (2007) 7/10

Starring : Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones, Kelly Macdonald, Woody Harrelson
Director : Ethan & Joel Coen
Running Time : 122 mins

Llewelyn Moss (Brolin) finds a number of dead drug dealers who appear to have killed each other in a dispute over some money but, rather than report the incident to the police, Llewelyn decides to take the money and keep it for himself. When he discovers a tracking device in the money, and finds himself being pursued by a blood thirsty killer named Anton Chigurh (Bardem), Llewelyn starts to regret his decision to keep the police out of things.

Although a little confusing in places, this was a very well paced thriller with enough violence thrown in to please those not bothered about the plot. It starts well, and the middle is gripping, but unfortunately it does seem to fall apart at the end with the conclusion seeming a little abrupt. Definitely worth watching, but try to look past the violence and get engrossed in the plot.
